I Process SME-projektet kommer i Sverige Luleå tekniska universitet med stöd av IUC Norrbotten och övriga projektpartners att arbeta med affärsmodellering (med sikte mot resultat- och prestandabaserade affärsmodeller), utveckling av verktyg och metoder som SMEer inriktade mot kunder i processindustrin skall kunna använda för sin vidare utveckling. Vidare kommer det ges möjlighet för intresserade och kapabla företag att deltaga i EU-projektansökningar för teknik- och affärsutveckling vilket även ger möjlighet till att vidareutveckla sin personal och internationella nätverk. Det finns ytterligare möjlighet för mindre och större företag att vara med och påverka innehållet i nya ProcessIT.EU Roadmappen som tas fram under projektet (www.processit.eu/roadmap).

Biographical Info
Vinit is a research expert in servitization, organizational capabilities, innovation performance, digitalization, business model, open innovation, and inter-organizational collaboration.
He has defended his PhD (2010) on the topic of achieving competitiveness through externally oriented capabilities: an empirical study of technology-based small firms.
Vinit has experience of being involved in two VINNOVA excellence research centres at LTU- FASTE Excellence Centre for Functional Product Innovation and Centre for Inter-organizational Innovation Research (CIIR).
He has experience of leading numerous research projects related to the business model development and servitization.
He currently supervising seven PhD students and have successfully supervised three PhD students.
He has over 100 plus publications in high impact journals (e.g. Strategic Management Journal, Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Cleaner Production, Operation and Production Management, Journal of Business Research), books and conferences.

David is a research expert in product service systems, servitization, business modeling, open innovation, and inter-organizational collaboration.
He has defended his PhD (2013) on the topic of collaboration between process industry firms and equipment suppliers.
David has extensive experience of working with companies from different industries in applied research projects (e.g. supporting business model development).
He has over 40 publications in high impact journals (e.g. Industrial Marketing Management, California Management Review and Journal of Business Research), books and conferences.

Petter has competences within product –service systems, functional products, discrete event simulation, computer aided design and innovation processes
He obtained the Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2005
He successfully defended his PhD, 2015, on the topic of “Predicting functional product availability and cost through a simulation driven approach”.
Petter has experience of working in a VINNOVA excellence research centre, LTU- FASTE Excellence Centre for Functional Product Innovation, through the years 2010 to 2016
He has experience of collaborating in an EU project, SmartVortex, related to the development of process wide information systems.
His work has been distinguished by the industrial focus in combination with academic relevance
He has nine academic publications, including thesis, high impact journals (Simulation Modelling Practice and Theory, International Journal of Product Development ), book chapter (Through-Life Engineering Services (Springer) and international conferences (ESREL, ARRTS, CIRP TES).

John has participated and initiated a number of national and international projects and project proposals and worked in industry for 15 years.
John frequently meets and networks with SMEs and large companies and also supervises 3 PhD-students.
